Að búa til digital mynd. To create a digital image.

Til gamans birti ég hér tvær myndir sem eru efni í stafræna mynd. Ég að gera það þannig, að safna tvö eða fleiri af þeim og þá er ég að vinna í bæði ljósmagn og litur. Það var ekki mögulegt fyrr í sögu ljósmyndunar að gera svipaðar myndir, á sama hátt og í tölvu.

For fun I show here the two pictures which are the material in a digital image. I do it that way, to assemble two or more of them and then I process in the both light output and color. It was not possible earlier in hstory of photograpy to make similar images, in the same way as in the Computer.

Þjóðarfoss./ The waterfall of our nation.

Þjóðarfoss. Fossar eru alltaf í núinu, en þeir eru gamlir þeir hafa alltaf verið þarna til staðar og í þeim býr sagan, en það kemur alltaf nýtt vatn og nýr foss. Íslendingar sem hafa lýst skoðun á þessu málverki segja það vera; Öxarárfoss á Þingvöllum, það segir okkur hvaða hugmyndir að Íslendingar hafa um Þingvöll og Öxarárfoss. Engan íslending langar til að gera nokkrar breytingar á þessum fossi, hann er heilagur í augum flestra, hitt er þó staðreynd að fossin er í raun mananna verk.

The waterfall of our nation. Waterfalls are existing in THE NOW, and they are old in the sense they have been following there for ages and new at the same time because it is always new water coming. Icelanders wish have expressed their opinion about this artwork say that it is the Öxarárfoss on Thingvellir, it can tell you ideas that icelanders have about Thingvellir and Öxarárfoss and their idendity as icelanders.No Icelander would like to do something change to this waterfall it is sacred, but in reality is that unique waterfall really man-made.

Eyja með hatt. / Island with hat.

Eyja með hatt. Þegar við sjáum eitthvað í náttúrunni, finnst okkur það líkjast einhverju  úr mannlegri reynslu eða einhverju manngerðu. Margir listamenn eru sjálfhverfir, en ég er ekki þannig, en ég einfaldleg elska hatta.
Ástæðan fyrir því að bera hatt, mundu margir halda að væri til að vera listamannslegur, en það er ekki svo, það er bara alltaf rok á Íslandi svo maður er alltaf að einbeita sér að því að hatturin tolli á höfðinu og þannig gleymir maður egóinu.


Island with hat. Island with hat. When we see something in nature, sometime we think it look like something in human experience or something human made. Many artists are self oriented, but I am not like that, but i where hat.
The reason for wearing a hat, many would think i did to look artist alike, but it is not so, It is always windy in Iceland so one is always concentrating on if the hat is ok, and forget the ego.
