Weather show that will not be forgotten soon.

Went on not such a high mountain today and enjoyed the beauty of Thingvallavatn and mountain ranges. Thingvellir is one of the most beautiful places in Iceland in my opinion. It was such a weather that made it even like a much higer mountain i vas walking on, the clouds had a live show that will not be forgotten soon.

Identity of Icelanders in terms of food is most propably the lamb meat, the sheep  has endured in the country for centuries. One version of lamb meat is smoked as we put on flatbread.
With this we drink, malt extact drink and orange fizzy soft drink mix together, specaly at Christmas and give tourists if they want something Icelandic.
As well we deal with painting  this half-wild house animal.

The simple food of my childhood was traditional Icelandic food, a delicious rice potage and slátur, rice is boiled in milk with raisins, and cinnamon sugar sprinkled over, but the slátur is like the Scottish haggis. We like to cook this food every now and then.

We can offer old-fashioned Icelandic food.

Refreshing from the north

Refreshing from the north.

When the wind is fresh from the north, it's better to be indoors and cook shells and french fries, first when I saw this kind food, I was not  familiar to this, comming from homogeneity of Icelandic food culture in the 1980's, I was in Belgium as a young artist and did not know much about the food traditions of Europe, now I just know what I know little.

Snow Cover on trees.

It's not often there is beautiful Snow Cover on trees here in Reykjavik, not even at Christmas. But this morning, it was as as good as it gets in Iceland, and the turists continue to take pictures of the orange house.
